That’s Debbie Pastrano. With a genuine passion for helping people, she’s been a wellness coach at Rebekah’s Grand Blanc location since 2023. In this Q&A, hear from Debbie about the high-quality products and exceptional experience offered at Rebekah’s.
What’s your background and expertise?
Debbie: I’m a holistic health practitioner, dietary supplement specialist, and wellness coach at Rebekah’s. I started studying and practicing wellness more than 25 years ago, simply because I wanted a better quality of health for myself.
My career began as a hairdresser and in-salon educator—I’ve always had a passion for helping people look and feel their best. And from there, I’ve continued to build on that. That same passion is what I bring into my customer consultations at Rebekah’s.
As a wellness coach at Rebekah’s, what’s the most common question you get asked by customers?
Debbie: That’s tough because there are many “most common” questions. Most customers want help with easing anxiety, getting better sleep, improving gut health, and having more energy during the day.
Stress plays a big role in wearing down the immune system and quality of sleep, which raises cortisol levels, worsens fatigue, and can cause inflammation. Everything is connected. We have many products that can help with balancing each of these problems, so I always ask a lot of questions and try to find a simple combination of supplements to get started with.
What are some of the practitioner-grade supplements customers can find at Rebekah’s?
Debbie: All four stores carry a variety of health and wellness products, including practitioner-grade supplement brands like Designs for Health, Pure Encapsulations, Thorne, and Metagenics. Practitioner-grade supplements are third-party tested for potency and are more effective than over-the-counter items due to higher concentration and quality.

What are the benefits of practitioner-grade supplements? What can they help customers with?
Debbie: These products are non-synthetic, many of which are gluten-free, non-GMO, and soy-free. They have ingredients with high potency that are highly absorbable. This means that they’re extremely effective without having to use artificial colors or sweeteners. They’re simply clean and a great addition to anyone’s daily regimen.
What is one thing you want to tell someone who might be new to practitioner-grade supplements?
Debbie: One supplement doesn’t fit all health concerns and that’s what we try to help with as wellness coaches at Rebekah’s. We let customers know that you may have to try a few things before you start seeing results. Start simple and don’t give up on yourself. Have a little patience in your wellness journey and it will be well worth it!
